Totoro in a Green Nest

This is my entry for 's contest!
I'm in a very Totoro mood lately
I saw about this cosplay just yesterday, the deadline is tomorrow but I had to partecipate!

Also because the GHIBLI MAGICAL GARDEN CONTEST is such a wonderful theme! Maybe if I had more time I would have loved to make something about Arriety because I love the movie, but I also love Totoro! And I'm practising about creating scenes and scenarios and locations with clay so what a great challenge!

Here we have two little Totoro, the white and the blue one.
The white is holding a piece of wood because he wants to fish.. not really, he just like the pose! And the other one takes care of him because he cares about it. How sweet!

I create this in YouClay, this is all hand made by me, to recreate something similar to Totoro's nest in the movie My Neighbour Totoro and to show what Miyazaki gives to me.. the sensation of a beautiful and colorful nature that surrounds us.

From my garden I asked kindly to a plant if I could take a leaf to use it as a "frame" for my fan art. I thanked the plant of course.
